Events
Get involved! Aside from our Worship services, Gloria Dei ELCA Lutheran Church in Neenah, Wisconsin, provides church-sponsored events to engage with us in person. Gloria Dei sponsors events to promote fellowship with others, build connections of support and care, and serve the Lord through local and global outreach.
Community Service Events
One of the congregation’s most impactful events occurs every September when we participate in a Day of Outreach. God’s work, Our Hands Day incorporates a variety of service projects to benefit 20 different agencies and nonprofits in the Fox Valley. Other outreach events take place throughout the year. For example, we serve meals at the Fox Valley Community Table, host blood drives, distribute Thanksgiving baskets, and support a Giving Tree at Christmas. We also host Lenten Soup Suppers, to gather the congregation together for a good meal and message.
Classes, Meetings & Groups
Additionally, Gloria Dei coordinates programs for all interests and abilities. We host Pilates classes, book clubs, card-playing groups, quilting circles, Narcotics Anonymous meetings, and so much more! Check our monthly Congregational Life calendar for the latest event dates and times.
Events, Charitable Works & Ministries
One of the best ways to get connected is to get involved in the community events and service opportunities we sponsor. We would be happy to connect you with one of our volunteer coordinators to find a great fit for you. We help Gloria Dei members find meaning and purpose in life by inviting them to explore the events, charitable works, and ministries at Gloria Dei.
